Hypothesis Tips!
-Must have the three key words: IF, THEN, BECAUSE
-Remember, a hypothesis is not an educated guess but rather a testable statement- You must be able to test it!
-Your hypothesis is not a question so it should not have a question mark.
-Format:
If.... (Independent Variable), then (Dependent Variable), because (My research).
-Example:
-If the speed of running is increased, then the heart rate will increase, because the heart will be working harder to pump more blood.

Variable Help!
-Dependent (Responding) Variable: the variable that is being measured in the experiment, depends on the independent variable
-Independent (Manipulated) Variable: the variable that is being changed in the experiment, the tested variable
